Stunning vintage Soviet era forks, extremely rare set of 6. They are large, solid, beautifully made, very high quality. They made from melchior (silver metal that was very popular in 50s-70s in USSR, copper, buy nickel and zinc mix) and gold plated. They have a detailed roses design, stamped «МНЦ» and «8 р 70 к». The first means melchior, the second is price, very high for that time. Only rich person could have flatware like this, my grandma's salary was 40 rubles a month and she could buy no more than 5 forks for all these money!
All six are in great condition, I even don't think they were used, just small surface scratches due to age. But they have patina and need to be cleaned.
