No.19279 – This is an adorable vintage planter!
Made in Japan in the 1950s, this rare planter features a white cat playing the piano!
The sweet kitten is sitting in front of the piano with his front paws on the keyboard! He is looking up with his sweet blue eyes as if asking if you like his tune!
The white and pink piano have beautiful raised blue and yellow flowers with green leaves on the side.
Measuring 4 ½ inches high, the planter is 3 ¾ inches wide by 5.5 inches long and in very good condition. There are no chips, no cracks. A bit of crazing adds to the vintage charm of this rare piece of Shafford Japan. The hand-painted piece is stamped in black at the bottom: “Shafford Japan Hand Decorated”.
