Ideal for DMs wanting to surprise all their spell-casters, or just be over-prepared as usual- you can now purchase every spell card!
You will receive every spell for every spell-casing class, from Cantrips to 9th level, taken from the basic rules of D&D 5e and the Elemental Evil Player's Companion. That means over 1,000 spells are included! Yes, you read that right: over ONE THOUSAND spells. Simply cut them out, place them in a sleeve if they need extra salsa/snack protection, and keep your spells organized while you play at your next session.
THESE CARDS HAVE:
• Custom icons for the schools of magic
• Custom icons representing Casting Time, Range, Spell Duration, Concentration, & Spell Components
• The full spell text - no reason to flip through the PHB searching for extra spell info. It's all included! Yes, even that one spell that is like 6 paragraphs long and includes a list of 10 separate things.
• Call-outs for important spell information like: Ritual Spells, Materials needed, if it requires a Saving Throw, AND MORE!
• Easy-to-read text size, so you don't have to squint
• PLUS, they're Tarot-sized! This means that you can purchase any standard Tarot-size plastic sleeve from your favorite retailer, and they will fit perfectly.
WHAT YOUR DOWNLOAD INCLUDES:
A ZIP file containing:
→ Spell Card Legend for each class
→ All Cantrips
→ All Spells (Levels 1 - 9)
→ Blank Spell Card templates for each class, with every school of magic, so you can write in spells from D&D sources like the Player's Handbook,or Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
HOW TO CUT THE CARDS:
STEP 1 - Print them!
→ Make sure you have your printer settings set at 1-sided, AND that the page is printing at 100%.
→ DO NOT let your computer "scale to fit page"!!
STEP 2 - Tools
You'll need a couple items if you want them sharp and clean– and most importantly, consistent.
→ Cutting Mat
→ X-acto knife or box cutter
→ Metal or Wood Ruler (not plastic!)
STEP 3 - Cut Them Out
→ The markings on the page are crop marks and registration marks. Line your ruler up with the vertical crop marks on the left side, and cut the paper using the x-acto knife.
→ Line your ruler up with the vertical crosshairs of the registration marks (they look like little targets), and cut using the x-acto knife
→ Line your ruler up with the vertical crop marks on the right side of the page, and cut with the x-acto
→ Finally, line your ruler up with the horizontal crop marks above the card, cut along the line, and repeat with the horizontal crop marks below. Voilà! Spell cards!
☞ If you are worried about using an x-acto knife, or you just don't have one, you can use scissors. Simply trace the outlines of the cards using a ruler and pencil, and then use your favorite pair of scissors!
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If you have any issues, questions, or if you spot any errors in the text, send me a message! I'll respond ASAP, and make any updates if needed.
WHY DID YOU DO THIS?
When you're in the midst of combat, it's hard to keep track of what exactly a spell does, or how long it takes, etc, especially if you have to flip through the Player's Handbook. In my non-D&D life, I'm a designer. While I realize that official spell cards exist, the type is extremely tiny for me, and it was difficult to read. Thus, I made my own spell cards, and it made buy a huge difference when I played. Now as a DM, I print them for my players so five copies of the Player's Handbook aren't taking up a bunch of much-needed room on the table.
