Sterling buy Silver & Mother of Pearl Caviar Spoon – Sea Shell Handle Tip – Vintage MOP Serving Spoon for Entertaining

This lovely caviar serving spoon has a beautiful sterling silver handle that is topped with a sea shell. The bowl of the spoon is gorgeous mother of pearl.

Scrolls decorate the sterling silver handle. The mother of pearl bowl is oval shaped.

It measures approximately 5 3/8” (13.7cm) long and about 1 1/2” (1 1/2cm) at its widest point.

The spoon is in very good to near excellent condition. No cracks or chips to either shell were found.

Taped to the back of the spoon's bowl is an original price tag. We found this among my mother's things. I don't recall it from childhood so I don't think she was the original owner. She may have picked it up on one of her antique expeditions or, it could have been handed down in the family.

Not only is buy this a nice piece to have when entertaining but it is also a simple, yet beautiful, display piece.
