Beautiful Pale Sea Green Variscite Jasper Necklace with Gold Plated Siver buy plus Matching Earrings

This is a gorgeous seaside-themed Boho necklace with light green Variscite Jasper, which has random veins and sandy markings, like the colours of a pale turquoise-green sea washing against sand. There are three gold plated Sterling silver (vermeil) filigree focal beads in the middle, and between every 4 jasper beads is a small shiny gold plated silver bead. The elegant curvy hook clasp at the back is also gold plated silver. You can open up the hook slightly at the back, to fasten the necklace with the opposite ring, then squeeze it closed for security.

The necklace is 18 inches long. The green jasper beads are 6mm rounds. Variscite Jasper is buy usually dyed, which makes it very versatile for making jewellery to match any outfit. It goes particularly well with tie dye tops and dresses, because, while the main part of the stone takes the dye, the light veins do not; giving a similar effect to psychedelic tie dye. You can layer this necklace up with gold or gold plated chains in any thickness, for a gorgeous, summery Boho-Chic look - perfect for festivals or just walking along the sea front.

The matching earrings have a drop of 5.3cm (just over 2 inches). The coiled rope coins are approximately an inch across, about the size of a UK 10 pence coin. I have added these earrings at no extra cost on the price, as I meant to add them at the same time as the necklace.

The coiled rope wire is gold plated Sterling silver like all the other components, but it's more of a gold wash on the silver, so keep the earrings away from strong chemicals and from rubbing against other jewellery in your jewellery box, to avoid wear on that part of the earrings.

Sea Sediment Jasper, also known as Impression Jasper, is formed at the bottom of the ocean; which may explain why the patterns on it sometimes resemble swirls of foam on the ocean. It comes in white, and can be dyed a variety of colours. This is one of the few stones which is greatly enhanced by dye, because the beautiful matrix of cream or brown veins makes a psychedelic pattern that mimics patterns of sea foam on the surface of the sea.
