The Duxer Porzellan Manufactur was established by buy E. Eichler in 1860. Located in what is now Duchcov, Czechoslovakia, the area was known as Dux, Bohemia until W1. The war brought about changes in both the style of the ware as well as the marks. Better pieces were made of porcelain, while the larger pieces were made of pottery. After the war the ware was marked with a small pink triangle but without the "Bohemia" designation, "Made in Czechoslovakia" was added and the style became more Art Deco.
I'm guessing this Eagle was made for some fraternity or something where the Roman Numeral V1 (11) has some significance, there are also Roman Numerals inside the base as well fired under the glaze. In any event this is really a stunning Eagle in high Glaze Porcelain. There is a small glaze flaw between the head and the wing, shown in the last picture.
