This tiny painting is a portrait of a fugitive and precious moment. Like all the others on this Tiny Food series buy (29 paintings, originally), it presents you that fraction of second between the food being there, still, and then, not anymore. It's been fussed with, eaten, drank. It's not what it was and never again will be. The tiny and precious moment before action. The millisecond of contemplation that you get when you look mindfully to your beverage just poured, or your food just plated. It's about that tiny pleasure within your reach. You can't wait for it. But you do. You rejoice in that escaping moment before giving in. And it's all much better because of it.

All artwork will be will be packaged securely and shipped via registered mail from Toronto, Canada, with a tracking number.
