Fused buy Glass Whimsical Sun

This whimsical sun was inspired by free spirits everywhere seeking the warmth of sunshine and the joy of color. It is made from multiple colors of transparent and opaque art glass. The center is three layers of glass - opaque yellow, transparent tangerine and topped off with opaque orange. The rays extending from the center are in all sorts of bright colors with contrasting accents. The sun is fused to a 9 1/2” clear circle to protect the rays and strengthen the piece. A hanger is epoxied to the back that extends 3/4 inch beyond the bracket to allow light to shine through the glass when it is hung. The mating buy wall bracket is included.
