Each badge represents a tank destroyed with small arms (grenades etc.) At 5 silver badges the soldier would get a gold. Battlefield dug relic! Extremely rare to find intact (with silver bullion backing) as cloth buy degrades over time especially if it's in the ground! A must have for any ww2 collection.
