Feather & buy Leaf Motif Blue Nuno Felt Scarf R-S9

This scarf was inspired by the natural space in our yard. I am forever picking up feathers and leaves which I used as the theme for this piece.

A blue superfine merino provides the background for layers of greens, blues and copper leaves and feather forms cut from fine silks. The edges were cut away during the felting process to provide unusual ends to the scarf. The measurements provided are for the longest ends of the scarf.

While this scarf will be warm, it is extremely fine and light weight.

Cleaning is simple. The scarf should be washed in a basin with a mild soap or your favorite shampoo in cool or eco-warm water. Just soak, rinse in cool water and roll in a towel to remove the excess water. Lay flat or hang straight to dry. Due to its fineness and the high amount of silk, it dries very quickly.
