“WHEEL OF FORTUNE” Vibrant, colorful handbag with one inside and one outside pocket. The “Wheel” side is a blend of Alpaca and fine Merino sheep wool, decorated with multicolored wool yarns. The brim of the purse around the opening incorporates colorful cotton fabric Nuno* Felted in. Now flip the bag over for a BRIGHT surprise! Brilliant gold viscose fibers on the right and left sides, with the outside pocket in the center Nuno Felted with silk fabric over the wool. The bag's handles are also wet Felted Merino wool, which are needle Felted onto the handbag.

The handbag measures approximately 13 inches from the bottom to the opening, at the center, 14 inches wide at it's widest points, and weighs 5.25 ounces. The strap measures 18 inches from end to end.

As with all of my creations, this handbag is 100% handmade by me, is an original design, and is one of a kind!

*NUNO FELTING: The name is derived from the Japanese word "nuno", meaning cloth. The technique bonds loose fiber, usually wool, into a sheer fabric such as silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt. The fibers can completely cover the background fabric, or they may be used as a decorative design that allows the backing fabric to show. Nuno felting creates an extremely versatile fabric and is particularly suitable for lightweight creations, allowing for movement and drape. The use of silk or other stable fabric in the felting process creates fabric buy that will not stretch out of shape. Fabrics such as nylon, muslin, or other open weaves can be used as the felting background, resulting in a wide range of textural effects and colors.
