A set of four (4) beautifully colored wood block prints, c. 1893.

Vintage art print reproductions, these book plates have been digitally enhanced and restored, while still retaining some of the imperfections which give the art their vintage character. The original art has been adapted to fit standard retail frame sizes. New prints of vintage art.

WOODBLOCK ART
The original art was created using traditional Japanese woodblock printing, a technique involving inked wood blocks pressed to paper or fabric. Please note that woodblock printing was not a precise printing method and artwork may show signs of the wood "line" texture or slightly misaligned registration. These imperfections are part of the charm of these vintage woodblock prints.
