Buy Henry Fonda Theatre

On the final day of January, in the year two thousand and three, Elliott Smith played the Henry Fonda Theatre in California, Los Angeles. It's the saddest gig I've ever seen; sadder that I wasn't there. Here's a shot in the spotlight, the artist appearing stripped of its guitar. Suitably gutted, it appears, like a lost romantic of old. They still make 'em like they used to, for better and for worse.
