This pen barrel is turned on a lathe and wet sanded with increasing fine grits to 12,000 grit creating a smooth and lustrous finish. It is hand polished on the lathe at high speed (3,600 rpm) while applying HUT Ultra Gloss™ Plastic Polish that gives it a glass-like appearance.
