THE STONE-
Amethyst a dazzling purple stone which varies from Deep purple to Lavender and lilac. It has been highly regarded throughout history and whilst it is a semi precious stone today, the ancients considered it a 'Gem of Fire' A precious stone which at time in history was worth as much as a Diamond. It was worn by the first Christians and bishops and popular in rosaries and prayer beads as it was thought to bring about calm, mental peace and quietude.

Amethyst It is considered the stone of St Valentine as it is thought that St Valentine wore a ring engraved with an image of cupid and therefore a stone of faithful lovers!

Amethyst, is thought to be a stone of calm and balance, a protective stone which clears the mind of confusion and stressful emotions.

Amethyst is one of the Birthstones buy for February and as such is a wonderful gift for anyone born within that month.

The stones I use are natural and therefore each pendant necklace and bracelet I create is unique. Each set is made to order and as such the colours may vary slightly from the one in the picture, as each stone has its own natural flaws.

THE NECKLACE -
The pendant is hung on an 18 inch Sterling Silver belcher chain, with bolt clasp and 925 hallmark. I can custom the length of each necklace, so please just ask if you require an alternative size. The Stones are separated with small sterling silver beads and hand wrapped in sterling silver wire.

THE BRACELET -
One size fits all stretch bracelet, featuring a 10mm 925 sterling silver scratch effect focal bead and 2 small sterling silver beads. The bracelet is 7.5 inch long which should fit most due to the good quality stretch thread used, If however you require a smaller or larger size please do just ask when submitting your order, all bracelets are made to order so I am very happy to make a custom size.

THE PRESENTATION BOX -
Each of my designs come in a Drops of Earth kraft gift box with a silver polishing cloth. A description of the stone including history and properties is included in the lid of the box.

THE PACKAGING -
Following my own aim to reduce my consumption of single use plastic, the gift box will arrive wrapped in brown card bubble wrap and the outer envelope is made using sugarcane and is fully recyclable.
