Sterling Loop Over Stone Design In Line Tennis Bracelet CZ Stones Safety Clasp

ITEM: An in-line, single row CZ set in sterling tennis bracelet - with a twist! That twist is a literal corkscrew design where by each link of the bracelet features a loop of sterling silver, raised above the main line of sparkly stones, creating a corkscrew, tunnel effect of deep dimension and depth of field. It's a great design and is the first ive had like it! Each twinkling clear stone is prong set and raised up above the linkages for added oomph. The spiraling, corkscrew effect wrapping its way a around the length is technically what costume jewelry peeps would refer to as a “wire over” effect. In this case, those wires are sterling and doubled, creating an indentation and adding a textural element to the design. This bracelet is incredibly well made. The articulation stemming from the manner in which the links are affixed, an elongated Y shape, similar to a fishes spine. The clasp is likewise well done, a box clasp that fits, tongue and groove style, snapping into an internal latch mechanism to close and with a ball top to squeeze or compress, a light pull to open again. To either side are extra fold over push clasps for added security. In short, this in-line or Tennis bracelet is a little dynamo of design, well made, interesting and ready to adorn. The stamp is 925 for sterling silver and does test as such. A great example of type and style, dating to the late 80s. I saw no other marks apparent.

SIZE: Measuring 7” end to end and 1/8” wide, this in-line tennis bracelet is a typical size for it's day. Because there's really no way to extend it, I recommend measuring twice!

CONDITION: In good vintage condition showing minimal wear apparent. No loose or missing stones and no signs of replacement or repair. The stones are lively and bright and I believe, cubic zirconia. Clear and sparkly at any rate. The links show no areas of separation and I see no bends, breaks, dings or dents. Some tarnish remains in recessed, hard to reach areas however I only used a soft cloth and elbow grease, no abrasive methods used. If you prefer a high polish, just drop a note at checkout and add a day buy to shipping estimate to allow proper time to do the job right. Patina is a natural process for oxidation over time and there's no right or wrong with polishing; simply a personal preference. The clasps are intact and functional and the bracelet looks great! I always recommend using your zoom feature to view all photos and determine if it meets your own standards as our ratings may differ. What I see is a nicely made piece with an interesting design thats in good shape at any age; let alone 40 years! YES! 1980 really is vintage! I know, right? lol
