Orchid Calcite Tower **not Sunstone** (read description) - 3.6" buy - 5.1"

Although some people call this "Sunstone," it is NOT Sunstone and is not even related to it.
Calcite is softer (Mohs Hardness Scale: 3) and is formed from calcium carbonate while Sunstone is a harder Feldspar mineral (Mohs Hardness Scale: 6) that contains hematite and goethite.

Calcite is the most common form of calcium carbonate and is very common and widespread. There is a great range of colors and shades in the calcite group of crystals. Orchid calcite gets its rich dark orange color from microscopic particles of iron oxide and black tourmaline buy.

Orchid calcite is associated with the sacral and solar plexus chakras. It is believed to aid in grounding and for focus on what life has ahead.. It can be used to help increase confidence and courage, lift spirits, and bring emotional balance. This powerful and gentle healing crystal is associated with the Moon, the element water, and the zodiac sign Cancer.

The hardiness of orange calcite has a rating of 3 on the mohs scale, so it is a relatively soft crystal.
