This was such a fun shoot! Gathered downtown with a few fellow photographers for the Super Moon. The moon itself is really huge right after it comes off the horizon, then when you shoot it with a 600 mm telephoto lens it compresses the scene and makes the moon look giant! The only downside is.....you can't go wide enough to get the entire scene in the shot so....you have to take an 8 shot pano and stitch them together in Lightroom to end up with one HUGE photo of downtown Raleigh and the super moon :).
