INSTALLATION AND FIXINGS
Fitting Instructions are included with your order, it is very easy to install.
Shelves can take up to 3kg each if properly installed on a suitable wall.
Our shelves come with pre-drilled holes for the concealed shelf supports.
Equipment needed for installation: Spirit Level, Drill, 10mm Wrench (10mm Masonry drill bit for solid wall fixings only).

MATERIAL AND QUALITY
All Blue Birch Design products are hand crafted using sustainable and environmentally friendly material whenever possible.
I source and select the best sustainable pine wood from Scandinavia,
timber has been kiln-dried to suit a home environment. Note that boards display a variety
of unique characteristics such as cracks, knots, splits, rough edges etc
and I believe this is what adds to the charm of my products.
We only use water based, non toxic wood stain (see more details below) and finish the
product with a lovely coat of natural beeswax which enhances the
grain pattern whilst protecting the timber with a water repellent finish.
Water based stains means when it dries it is water that evaporates off, not an oil or white spirit.
This also gives our stains a low VOC (Volatile organic compounds) rating and low odour.
