This is a good quality, very heavy silver electro plated cigarette case. I am not sure why it is so heavy.
It is quite a large size but still quite slim. It has monogrammed initials of JF. The front and back have an engine turned design giving it a matte look. The case is very tactile. The inside has gold plating and an elastic band. The gold plating is in excellent condition. The case shuts very well with a click.

It could be used for storing business cards, paper money or bank cards instead of cigarettes. Would make a nice gift especially for someone with the same initials.

Measures: Approximate length 14.6cm by width 8.5cm by depth 1.1cm

Hallmarked: H EPNS B for silver electro plated. I am not sure what the H and B stand for. Probably the makers mark.

Makers Mark: H B, could be for Herman Brothers

Weight: 185gms (very heavy)

Age: approx. 1920s

Condition: In excellent vintage condition with signs of wear in keeping with its age. The gold plating is in excellent condition and the case closes very well with a click. Could be polished up to look like new.
