OOAK Hardcover Strawberry Fields Forever: John Lennon Remembered (1980)/Self Publication/Samizdat/Collectible book/USSR buy Vintage 80's

This copy of “Strawberry Fields Forever: John Lennon Remembered” is really one of a kind. It was made by the Beatles' fans from the Soviet Union in late 80's buy. It is an example of self publication, which was practiced in the USSR for censored or unavailable literature. I bought it in Kiev in 90's from the street bookseller.

The book is well-crafted - has a blue hardcover and a red ribbon bookmark.
The content is identical to the original Bantam Book publication (1980) – a biography of John Lennon written and published by Vic Garbarini and Brian Cullman. 177 pages with photos.

Nonstandart size - 21.8 x 20.5 cm (8.6”x8.0”)

The book is in good condition – no tears, only the small pen mark on the inner front cover page and the bookseller stamp on the back page, as shown on the pictures.
