This print is an original relief print made by engraving a Resin Grave block. Engraving is a type of relief printing created using various gravers to achieve the fine lines and details which cannot be achieved using traditional woodcut tools. Resin Grave is a product developed for wood engravers to use in place of wood. These prints are created by hand and as a result, no two prints are exactly alike. This is a limited edition of 10 prints all titled, signed and numbered.
My inspiration for this print was based on a photo. I enjoyed the challenge of achieving various shades of dark and light within the block.
