A beautiful puzzle box in the shape of a heart. The wood is Paduak. The box opens into two sections with two lined compartments to hold your treasures.

Wood sources are from suppliers that focus on a sustainable approach to harvesting their woods. She also travels extensively in the US locating small " Mom and Pop" saw mills that utilize downed trees as their supply.
For example, she travels across Texas seeking the best mesquites and across upper Michigan searching for mills specializing in Birds Eye Maple. That region is know for the best Birds Eye Maple in the US.

She uses a time consuming 6 step finishing process using only natural products to preserve the beauty of the wood. She does not believe in taking a beautiful creation of nature and encapsulating it is plastic acrylic. Her finishes invite your touch and and give off a warm internal glow. She does not use dye or stains to finish he piece so all woods are their natural beauty as created by Mother Nature.
