✂ ---Huipil embroidered or hand-woven
Huipiles are a traditional garment from various parts of Mexico and other parts of Latin America. The huipiles and dresses that the painter Frida Kahlo used to wear belong to the traditional clothing of the Zapotec peoples of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (located in Oaxaca, southern Mexico). Therefore, the women of this region are commonly known as TEHUANAS.

Flower designs are part of the imagination of artisans, which is why there are so many different models and designs. Manually, the flowers are drawn on the fabric, after embroidery combining and degrading different colors that result in a true work of art.

Each bouquet of hand-embroidered flowers on each side of the huipil carries with it the reflection of the joy, passion and art of the Zapotec peoples.

Currently, huipiles are combined with contemporary clothes to create a more casual style or can even be worn with more formal clothes for parties.

Huipiles can be used loose or tight; long or short, depending on taste. The fabric fits to measure just by sewing the sides and length of the huipil. They are combined with skirts, jeans, shorts or other garments. The combination can achieve a casual or elegant style, you decide...
