✂ ---Huipil embroidered or hand-woven
Huipiles are a traditional garment from various parts of Mexico and other parts of Latin America. The huipiles and dresses that the painter Frida Kahlo used to wear belong to the traditional clothing of the Zapotec peoples of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (located in Oaxaca, southern Mexico). Therefore, the women of this region are commonly known as TEHUANAS.

Each bouquet of hand-embroidered flowers on each side of the huipil carries with it the reflection of the joy, passion and art of the Zapotec peoples.
