This 19th century "saddlebag" cabin with two living areas that share one chimney is found south of Gatlinburg Tennessee. A four-pen barn rests on the hill. The cabin was built by Noah "Bud" Ogle over five years spanning the late 1880's and early 1890's.
I arrived at the cabin site just after a morning rainstorm as the sun chased through the clouds. The wet look provided shine and accentuated color on the ground and structures. Additional color harmony post processing pulled the cabin porch into the green-yellow palette.
This print is only offered in a Cinematic 16:9 format due to the composition applied.

Metal (AlumaPress) --
A dye-sublimation ink transfer to a white or sheer or matte surface finishes on aluminum. These prints require good light and can be highly reflective. Select buy from one of three bases. The white base infused print illustrates a traditional print appearance adding a depth and richness of color. The sheer metal base illustrates a unique a sheer aluminum effect to illuminate the iridescence and allure of metal through the artwork. The matte base provides the basic image on a metal back. Metal prints need good even light without bright reflections. A protective, acid-free black coating is applied to the back of the infused metal and is completed with a black 1/2” recessed backing with a concealed French cleat hanger to give it a floating effect when mounted on the wall.
