Wood born in nature and cleansed by fire....then splashed with color.
This is a surface-burned project.
There are two sets of images on the page...the darker one is black stain over a burned finish.
The lighter colored images are just a spar urethane finish over the burned finish (I'll replace those images as more of these are purchased).
Honestly the black stain over the burn is stunning! The fire and stain combo brought out browns, golds and even bronze. I seriously did not expect such a stunning piece.
