Mayan buy ocean shrimp tile sculpture

This is my Mayan shrimp sculpture. It is my first of a series of Mesoamerica ocean tile sculptures. I love sea life, and this tile portrays an ocean-swimming shrimp and various crustacean plankton. I began by sculpting it digitally. Then I had it 3D printed, and I made a resin cast of the print. In addition to adding pigment to the resin, I add ground charcoal to buy it to give it a richer black color. Lastly, I hand-paint highlights on the tile.

Resin can discolor in direct sunlight. I use a pigment which helps block UV rays, and should offer protection to your tile, but all the same I recommend avoiding leaving it in direct sun for long periods of time. Item is 187mm square.
