This mask is entirely hand-made in papier maché using the traditional methods of Venetian master mask makers:
The mask is first sculpted in clay from which a plaster cast is made. buy Papier maché is then carefully laid in the mould and left to dry. When the mask is removed from the mould, the surface is smoothed with plaster and then sanded. It is then painted and a final layer of wax is applied.

Our masks are light but strong and are suitable for use in performances and as decorative items.

The plaster moulds for each mask are created from our own designs.
