Large, 20" Tall x 8" Wide, Chic Silver Mercury buy Glass Antiqued Finish Apothecary Jar, Rustic, Cottage Chic, Unique, One of a Kind

Hand-made, this lovely mercury glass apothecary jar is very large and will serve wonderfully as a centerpiece or focal point in any room. Each jar is created by overlaying multiple applications of silver varnish creating a beautiful mirrored finish. A final clear coat is applied to seal the surface for increased durability.

Measurements: 20" tall x 8 inches wide at the widest part

Traditionally, mercury glass (or silvered glass) was made with glass that was blown double walled, then silvered between the layers with a liquid silvering solution, and sealed. I am able to re-create this look without buy the traditional process, but with the same wonderful results.

This piece is for decoration only. Please do not use for food, drink or real flowers requiring water. Wipe with a damp cloth clean. Do not use real candles, keep away from flames.
