Our colors are lovingly made by hand and poured into half pans. Each color consists of pure, artistic pigments and our own natural binder formula, which includes gum arabic, agave syrup and clove oil.

Each color is mixed by hand until it has the right consistency. Since each pigment behaves differently with the binder, the color has different consistencies from pigment to pigment in the end result.

Each bowl is poured in several layers that harden between casting processes. In this way, we want to ensure that the bowls are as full as possible and that virtually no air bubbles are trapped. However, since air inclusions can never be completely prevented, we also top the color beyond the edge so that any air inclusions can be compensated.

Our watercolors are handmade products, so there may be optical (not color) deviations between the item photo and the color supplied.
