THE LION AND THE MOUSE

This pair of embroidered besties will make a great gift for a loved one whose kindness you truly appreciate.

All my STITCHES begin with my original drawings. As you visit my Etsy shop, you will see, most of my STITCHES are characterized by a minimalistic black line, with colorful little details.
I use a technique called free motion embroidery, which means the sewing thread is used as my drawing tool. Due to the nature of the creating process no two STITCHES will be the same. This makes every STITCH unique.

The lion and the mouse embroideries, are sewn on a combination of cotton and linen twill, using black sewing thread, and colorful sewing thread to highlight details. The frayed edges are part of the design and add character.

As you can see, in many of my STITCHES, I carefully match the embroidered picture to a unique frame. In fact, I am always on the lookout for one-of-a-kind frames.
Therefore, they frequently vary. Please contact me before ordering, to make sure the frame in stock is to your liking.

The lion and the mouse embroideries are mounted and framed in a wood embroidery hoop of 10*16 cm.
(the two can be ordered separately too)
