Southwest gray lusterous abalone sterling ring, hallmarked, circa 1970.

This elegant beauty almost glows. The buy highly polished abalone is a dark grey, with a lot of depth, and though it's smooth on top, looks like there is a pattern carved onto it. The abalone cabochon is deep and bezel-set in silver.

The ring is comfortable on the hand. The cabochon is 1 inch long and 3/4 inch wide, a large statement ring. Simple, elegant, sure to become a favorite.
