The clean, graphic red-on-black design of these simple but elegant pieces are reminiscent of Asian calligraphy. “Signet 9” features waves of reclaimed red glass on a stark black base of wood, with a narrow ledge across the top. From an original series of 17 works by Baltimore artist Mark S. Sanders, known as Markus. Comes ready to hang, and signed by the artist. The Signet pieces look wonderful in groupings of 2, 3 or more.
