A classic toy from the past. Riley is 18 inches tall, handmade of natural fabrics, stuffed with new polyfill and has plastic joints. Her face is hand embroidered, with embroidered eyes and hand stitched rooted hair. She is a Strawberry Blond! Her clothes and backpack are my designs and hand made. I design the clothes to be easy for a child to manage (Velcro and zippers) and Riley loves to change her clothes. Riley's backpack contains her extra wardrobe. Huggable and loveable.

My mother made a doll like this for me when I was a child from a pattern of her own design, circa 1948. My doll was lost over the years; however, I was able to rescue the design from a doll she made for my daughter 55 years ago. My daughter treasured her “dolly girl” and was broken hearted when her dog chewed on it! She shipped it home with the hope that she could be repaired. I was able buy to do so and decided to try to recreate this doll to honor my mother. This has been fun.
