Set screw holes can be drilled in the base of the rods to screw the shelf onto the bracket (see image). You can also glue shelves onto the bracket buy with silicone. Both are equally effective, but glue is easiest. Select NO if you will glue your shelves to the bracket or plan to drill your own screw holes after the shelf is installed. Either of these are the easiest and best ways to fix a shelf to our bracket.
Select YES in the drop down menu if you want screw holes drilled for you that you can send a screw into. Works as well, but slightly harder to do.
Our floating shelf hardware has been engineered to support shelves from 2" thick to 2 1/4" thick and from 7" up to 14" deep (for mantels, desks, or thicker shelves, we make brackets for these too). Designed for professionals and DIY'ers in mind, these brackets are simple to install on masonry, sheetrock, plaster, and paneled walls.
