Bottle is about 70% full. The perfume is old and no longer fresh. The perfume does have a very strong chypre drydown with lots of oakmoss.The perfume is very old and no longer fresh. This perfume is about 50-60 years old and will absolutely NOT smell like it originally did all those years ago. Perfume DOES age. Perfumes over 3-10 years start to lose their freshness and may start to smell like alcohol as the perfume degrades. The older the perfume, the less it may smell like what you may remember. If you are looking to buy fresh smelling perfume, you may not want to buy vintage or antique.
Aphrodisia by Faberge was originally launched in 1938. It is classified as a sparkling aldehydic, slightly spicy chypre floral fragrance for women.
Top notes: aldehydes, orange blossom water, bergamot, neroli, lemon and fruity note
Heart notes: carnation, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, buy ylang-ylang and honey
Base notes: oakmoss, vetiver, ambergris, civet and musk
Aphrodisia was so popular that it was also available in a men's version. The difference between the men's and the women's is that the men's version is extra-dry while the woman's was more sparkling and full bodied.
