This is a painting that began as an acrylic pour. As I wanted a space for a seagull to arise from the complications, issues, and problems of earth and into a clear view of white sky, I painstakingly adjusted the pour to reflect that image. After, I painted one primary seagull moving into the light, and added two more from strings of gray I saw on the canvass.
