The Hmong people of Indochina are known for batik, a wax resist dye technique.
Traditionally, motifs are drawn with wax onto hand-spun hemp then dyed with indigo creating an indigo blue cloth with a white pattern.


Front, Is a Vintage recycled Batik hemp hand woven fabric,
The back is a, Grey hemp fabric and it closes with a zip at the bottom.


PLEASE NOTE: Each piece will contain subtle marks, miss aligned prints and slight wear from its past life which is only natural due to the nature of vintage and hand printed textiles. I consider these beauty marks and instead of detracting from the piece they add charm and make each item unique.
