It has auto tracking that works amazingly well, and I used it to play back all of my home movies for video capture through a HDMI->RCA converter. If you're buy looking for the Rolls Royce of VCRs, this is for you. Has scratches on the top and the buttons, but none on the screen, and the system works like it did when it was new.
