This vintage set is comprised buy of a brooch and matching earrings. The set is made with electric blue glass and a lighter blue aurora borealis rivoli stones that have been wired on to a domed brass colored disc and then capped on the back to cover the wiring. The center of the brooch is bright blue scalloped margarita stone topped with a rhinestone. The matching earrings are made in a similar manner but lack the paler blue rivolis. In examining the construction of the brooch it is observed that there are "pins" used to space the stone and create a dimensional effect. The brooch measures 1 3/4" in diameter and the clip on earrings are 1". This is in excllent condition with no chipping or flea bits to the stones and no loss of color to the gold tone metal.
