This is a jadite butter dish and lid. I don't buy know the year. The bottom is pretty heavy, And thick. it is a swirl pattern. The top is a different color green it's lighter. It has the word butter imprinted on the top. Little guy has three out of the four corners chipped. I have one of the chips. When it's right side up on the base you can't see chips.
