Artist's Note:
From where we're standing, these dunes may not appear too daunting. Well, let me tell you that looks can be deceiving. I took this shot right before my first climb up these buy dunes, and what a trek it was, especially with a backpack full of camera gear. Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything, and the seeming silkiness of these sand dunes never fails to impress.
