.... in 1963, Vicke Lindstrand (one of the most famous Swedish glass designers) designed a star candlestick holder, the Kosta Star (ooohhhh!aaahhh!) while working with Rosenthal of Germany. The original design too complex, therefore the production was fairly limited.
that said, this is NOT a Rosenthal piece, rather a "knock off" that was obviously inspired by Lindstrand's design.
