“Dawn Salt Marshes, Mauve Light”

This piece is part of a small series of developmental works leading towards my chosen, “Dawn Salt Marshes” painting for the buy annual Royal Miniature Society exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. Each piece in this small series helped me to explore different ideas for the final chosen work. In this piece, titled, “Dawn Salt Marshes, Mauve Light”, I paid particular attention to the shades of lilac and deep pink light in the sunrise.

The unframed painting measures 9 x 13cm and costs £65.

The framed painting measures 11 x 15cm and costs £85. The frame is hand painted in Mylands, ‘Hoxton Grey', with a matt protective finish.
