This metallic crushed silk purse will add a soft, romantic shine to your outfit. It is 8 inches / 20 cm long by 5.75 inches / 14.5 cm wide, has a sturdy metal frame and a long (48 inch / buy 122 cm) strap. Worn over the shoulder, it should hang hip height or lower.

The bag is signed “Christiana” on the mirror attached to the inside lining. A pocket holds the mirror and keeps it protected. The inner lining is black and is in excellent condition.

The outer shell is a brownish pewter or bronze color. In the second picture that is a close up of the frame, the darker bits best depict the color in regular daylight (out of sun).

The most notable sign of age is the condition of the mirror. It has become slightly foggy. Please inspect Picture 7 carefully as I have done my best to show the mirror's condition.

Per my research, this is a handbag made by Christiana Lapetina. Christiana began her handbag company in 1994. She specialized in hand bead work and vintage style frame bags. Her handbags became popular with the women in Hollywood and by 2000 her small business became huge. One of her goals as a designer was to make beaded and evening type bags that could be worn for everyday use.
