Intarsia Blue Jay - Bird Art - Wood buy Art - Wall Art

Blue Jay perched on a branch This intarsia portrait is part of my bird series.
Various exotic wood types are chosen to portray the shades buy of the bird.
The wood is precisely cut with a scroll saw, the individual pieces are hand sanded and
carefully fitted together on a solid backer board. The surface of the finished art work is
protected with several coats of satin polyurethane spray. No paint or stain is used -
