I handmade this with white stoneware clay on my pottery wheel. After a day or so, I trimmed a foot for it and cut out the toothbrush holes. When dry I kiln bisque fired it to cone 04 (1945*F) for about 24 hours. Afterwards I glaze-painted with 2 premium glazes, Pink Opal and Cenote, with multiple coats of each, and drying between each layer. Finally, I fired it to cone 6 (2232*F) again for over 36 hours.

High temperature firing results in stronger more durable pottery—might survive into infinity.

Glaze buy painting with multiple layered glazes is my passion and often experimental. Every piece comes out differently, even when I think I have used the same materials, glazes and temperature process. This means almost all of my work is one of a kind. This is mainly because stoneware glaze can run quite unpredictably at high kin temperatures. And that is where the magic lies!
