Handmade Desert Ironwood French Rolling Pin French buy Taper Pastry Roller 16 inches long Palo Fierro

This is a handmade French taper rolling pin. It is 16" long, and has a walnut oil and wax finish. Desert ironwood is incredibly dense and fine grained. The center is 1.44 inches in diameter, and it weighs 14.4 oz. Desert ironwood is typically a small tree, so it is unusual to find pieces this big. This one buy is slightly asymmetrical with the ends measuring .81 inches and .74 inches. It also has some minor drying cracks in the surface as shown in the pictures.
