Royal Rudolstadt Hand Painted Prussia Plates Set of 2 Antique Dessert Plates, Country Cottage Farmhouse, PC1871 buy

This is a lovely, hand painted set of 2 antique Hand Painted Prussia, Royal Rudolstadt dessert plates. Circa 1900-1914

Decorated with gorgeous violet blossoms and stunning teal and green leaves on a background of soft creamy, pale yellow. Thick gilt trim to set off the art work!

The mark indicates that these were done after 1900 but before 1914. All evidence dates these as 1912

The plates measures 6” in diameter.

The plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or scratches that I can see. The gold trim is showing minor wear. Superb artwork! Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.

Signed “ Hand Painted Prussia” “B under crown” mark is also on both plates which was the mark for Royal Rudolstadt in 1912



They're wonderfully painted and could well be a display set for your china cabinet.
