Simple style brass captured swirls tiara crown. It has been rough soldered and sanded to give it an ancient feel and a shine when the light hits it.
This pretty tiara crown can be made in copper, brass and nickel silver.

It is approx 1 1/2 inches tall and circumference of approx 5 to 6 inches.


Please Note..... that some combs, hair pins and some crowns are rough soldered By design and have been worked over by a cutting wheel then sanded. The solder is silver solder and lead free. The work done that way creates a texture to the metal, marks Do show, the solder shows, and is Not by accident. buy It creates what I call my "caveman style" and are not bright shiny smooth but have a softer shine and softer feel to the metal. Because these are hand made there will be slight variations to each piece.

# Item care #
I do not coat crowns, hair items or other jewelry with lacquer or other chemicals. They are raw metals. They can be polished with a metal cleaner or dropped in some lemon juice for a bit, toothbrush and toothpaste also polish well, don't forget to rinse or you can turn your goodies green. You may also leave the piece alone and allow the metals to achieve a patina.
